Procedure, Duration & Costs

the course of therapy

Your first appointment and medical history
At your first appointment, it is essential for me to conduct a detailed anamnesis with you for a holistic therapy. On the one hand, this means taking a close look at your acute problem. On the other hand, we will look at this problem together against the background of your life situation and habits. Often, possible indications arise here that we can relate to in the subsequent physical examination.
The anamnesis and diagnosis will take about 30 minutes, especially during the first treatment, depending on the history of the disease even more. In the following treatments, I will carry out a daily diagnosis, but experience has shown that this takes considerably less time.

After we have jointly formed a picture of your resources and possible dysfunctions, as well as ruled out any contraindications for osteopathic treatment, we agree on a therapy goal as well as the number and frequency of therapy sessions that we will give ourselves to achieve this goal. After completion of the agreed therapy units, an evaluation then takes place and the further procedure is agreed individually.

For your first appointment, it is best to bring comfortable clothes and a large towel. For the physical examination you will have to undress down to your underwear, so that problems such as reflex and connective tissue zones must also be discovered by me and included in the treatment.

You will probably receive “homework” from me beyond the therapy. The conscientious implementation of these exercises is essential for the success of the therapy. Often it is only a change of circumstances and habits that can give us lasting health and ease.

the treatment duration and costs

Osteopathy is a Heilpraktiker service in Germany. As a non-medical practitioner, I give you a diagnosis during the treatment and charge you according to the Gebührenverzeichnis für Heilpraktikter (GebüH). The price of the treatment is set individually depending on the indication and type of treatment, but ranges between 100-120€ per treatment of 50-70 minutes

After the treatment, you will receive an invoice via Email, which you can submit to your insurance company if necessary. Payment is to be made within seven days after receiving the invoice via bank transfer.

Reimbursement: governmental health insurance companies only partially reimburse osteopathic treatment, and only if it has been prescribed by a doctor beforehand. I can provide proof of the required training of 1350 hours for therapists and am therefore generally recognised by the insurance companies.
Private health insurance companies agree individually with you as a patient whether and to what extent treatments by alternative practitioners are covered. I orientate myself on the standard rates, which should be covered by private insurance in general. Please also read the treatment contract.

If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
